London.. these were your headlines!

Our Christmas project was to illustrate a newspaper headline every day..

I stayed in London over the holidays and worked.. I tried to pick up a different newspaper everyday on my way to work, metro, guardian, the sun, evening standard, Southwark news.. etc. I'd then just scroll through the paper till i liked a headline and felt like I wanted to read the whole article.

Find a hat or a chair, Research this object down to it's core.
Who does the object belong to?
Where was it used?
Who did it belong to?
What is it made of?

Camberwell needs...More Gentlemen.

We then went out into Camberwell and got men to stand in it to have their photo taken,

this wasn't very popular, I guess people were embarrassed or they don't want to admit to not being a gentlemen!

Woman in Black Theatre Production.. Scary as.

Went to see Woman in Black at the theatre, I did try drawing thought here were only 2/3 characters on stage at a time and surprisingly it wasn't so much about the visual things but more about the experience and the speaking. The production made you jump a lot, with the screams and lighting. My favourite stage set was probably the nursery, it was exactly how I imagined it when listening to the recording in Camber Sands. 

New year.. New Resolution..

So here goes my new years resolution.. to post on my blog 5 times a week..
